me {omaha family photographer}

OH goodness!  Where does time go??  We’ve had a tough few weeks around home.  I know many of you follow Linda Gentry Photography on Facebook and if you do, you know that I lost my Mom on November 19th.  It’s been a very sad month and to say that she’ll be missed is quite an understatement.  This photo was taken 6 months ago on a trip to Hawaii, before any cancer diagnosis was made.  What a wonderful trip.  Anyway, I wanted to update everybody so you know why my poor blog has been neglected.  I’m hoping to pick back up soon.  I’ve also been avoiding showing client photos right now, so they can debut their images on Holiday cards and gifts.  I’ve had a slow “busy” season this year because I needed to be with my family and I wouldn’t change a thing.  Please stay tuned for client and my own personal family images.  I’m finally feeling inspired to be creative again, which is what my Mom would want.  She always indulged her creative passions and I feel so blessed to have inherited that desire.  I think of her every time I pick up a creative project and she was a big supporter of my photography.  I’m looking forward to sharing with you all!

  1. Linda, I am so sorry to hear about your mother.  This picture is such a wonderful reminder of her love.  The expressions on both your mom’s and June’s face are perfect.  May God bless you this season and be there when you need Him.  Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
